Koyo Portland Concert reviews
John Mayer was soulful!
Koyo has a very soulful presence about him, and I was not disappointed on my first concert experience with him. One of my all-time favorite guitarists, Eric Clapton, is someone I rank right up there with Koyo. Whether it be a slow song, a bluesy song, or a rockin' one, you're sure to be moved, enjoying yourself, and temporarily forgetting about all other worries you may have while he's playing. Even if you couldn't hear him, you can tell just by watching him play that he truly feels the music. That is something that I don't see in many of the artists anymore. I am a music lover of all sorts and have been to more concerts than I can even try to count. Young he may be, but he gets it, and he's easy on the eyes. Witnessing someone who truly loves what they do every night is an opportunity I would go on the road and work for, no matter how low I ranked on the totem pole.
